August Program: Butterflies!
The Sierra Club’s Palo Verde Group (Phoenix area) programs are held on the fourth Thursday monthly. We will be meeting virtually via Zoom until it is safe to gather in person.
At the August Program, we will have a presentation by Laura Miller about monarchs and other butterflies found in central Arizona and what to plant to attract butterflies. Laura is a volunteer with the Central Arizona Butterfly Association (the Phoenix Chapter of the North American Butterfly Association) and active with the Southwest Monarch Study which focuses on researching the migration and breeding patterns of monarch butterflies in Arizona and the Southwestern United States.
