“Hope is not the same thing as optimism. It is not the conviction that something will turn out well, but the certainty that something is worth doing, regardless of how it turns out… This hope… gives us the strength to live and continually to try new things, even in conditions that seem as hopeless as ours do, here and now.” – Václav Havel
As AZIPL plans for 2025 we commit to trying new things, and leaning into some of the old things that work. We want to support the work you do in your congregations, help connect you to others, and build coalitions for climate justice. We will continue to build community and bridge divides among people who love our common home and care deeply for others.
Now is the time, more than ever, to grow our movement. We hope you will join us. That could be gathering a S.A.G.E. team in your own congregation, committing to more climate conversations, or attending THIS, our January AZIPL meetings* to plan for 2025!
