About this project
Welcome to our Trees Matter / AZ Interfaith Power & Light Summer Book & Film Club!
Trees inspire hope for our future and they also are a topic for so many books. Understanding trees and tree metaphors can help us become more connected to each other, nature, and the world around us. As Summer hits, we want to take advantage of taking time to stay in, read, and contemplate from tree inspired books that we can discuss and learn from.
Thank you to AZ Interfaith Power & Light for partnering with us for this Book & Film Club!
June & August: we will be reading a book and discussing the book together once a month, through a video meeting to connect and share our thoughts. Links to the virtual meetings will be sent out a week prior to the meeting dates!
July: we will be watching two film screenings. Both films will be screened at Phoenix Art Museum, in partnership with FilmBar. Links to purchase tickets for both film screenings will be available soon and announced to all registrants of the Book & Film Club!
