Hear the Call: Jews for a Just Green Recovery

During Rosh Hashanah, the Arizona Jewish community will gather in front of Senator Kyrsten Sinema’s office, urging her to support the full 3.5 trillion dollars of the upcoming recovery package, also known as the Reconciliation Bill. All 3.5 trillion dollars of the proposed budget—and not a penny less—is necessary for our nation to recover from the pandemic and to finally begin tackling the climate crisis. We demand that there be no cuts to climate care, justice, and jobs in the negotiation of this recovery package. We are calling on Sinema to stand up for her constituents by supporting the full recovery package. She must not stand in the way of our economic recovery by weakening this bill. This community gathering is organized by Arizona Jews for Justice in partnership with Dayenu:  A Jewish Call to Climate Action.
