Background
As faith-based and affiliated organizations we have a direct voice to the faith communities we serve. This year, so many issues we care about as people of faith; caring for the Earth, seeking peace around the world, ensuring all are fed and housed, are issues being debated and discussed in upcoming elections. It is critical that our faith communities mobilize to ensure all voices and votes are heard. This messaging toolkit was created in the hope of bringing greater unity across organizations and faith traditions in the shared message that voting with our faith in mind, and ensuring others can do the same, will be so important this election season!
Topline Messages
- For people of faith, our faith traditions inform our vote. The morals and values we have are shaped by our faith, and when we vote those values, we are living into our faith.
- Caring for the Earth/Creation/our Common Home, is a tenet of many faiths, and as we work to address the climate crisis, we look for elected leaders who will take bold action to care for and protect our Earth now and for generations to come.
- Our democracy can only truly represent its people, if everyone has the opportunity to vote and have their voice heard. People of faith are critical to ensuring all those in our communities and congregations can cast their vote.

- Join us in two days of action on 9/24/2024 and 10/22/2024, where we will lift up our common faith voices in support of voter mobilization for people of faith,
