The Four Elements Retreat

A peer-led, day-long hiking retreat that invites participants to reflect on how we, like St. Francis, can recognize the incarnation of God in the material world (represented by the four elements). A small team of community members lead the retreat by inviting us to stop periodically along the hike and reflect on/discuss how God is found in the symbols of:
- Wind (how God inspires and gives us life)
- Fire (how God is the spark of our passion)
- Water (how God refreshes and renews us)
- Earth (how God grounds us in humility)
