Take Action
AZIPL wants to empower its followers by providing access to resources to mobilize and reduce the causes of the climate crisis.
Organized by topic, you will find detailed information and links to specific actions you can take today!
*Note: Additional topics will be added over time.
(1) Eradicating Poverty
The United States census calculated that 13.5% of the Arizona population currently live in poverty, 18.8% being children. With climate change disproportionately affecting low income communities and countries, poverty must be addressed just as much as the climate crisis. To end poverty in all its forms, we must work on ensuring that the entire population has access to resources like fresh food, education, clean drinking water, sanitation, and property control.

(2) Protecting our Oceans
Our oceans drive the global systems that make the Earth habitable. However, our seas are currently facing a crisis resulting from human action. Saving our oceans must remain a priority as the health of marine biodiversity is critical to the health of people and the planet. Recognizing the interconnectedness of environmental issues when working to solve the current crisis within our oceans further contributes to AZIPL’s mission of promoting a balanced and harmonious relationship with all Creation.
